Indian Fusion-The Chapatti

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup whole wheat flour (about 6 chapatti)
  2. 1 teaspoon oil
  3. Pinch of salt
  4. Water as needed

Directions

  1. In a bowl put the flour, oil and salt
  2. Add a bit of water at a time and mix together until it forms a dough ball
  3. Divide into six balls
  4. Take the first ball and cover it with a bit of plain flour so it doesn’t stick when you roll it
  5. Take a rolling pin and roll it in a round shape, quite thin
  6. Put a frying pan on the fire and put the chapatti in it, medium heat
  7. When it starts to bubble up turn over and cook the other side for a couple minutes
  8. Transfer it to the wire rack which is over a fire and cook it by turning on both sides until it rises up.
