Inspirations from Dadi Janki

Dear Friends,

Om shanti. Some of you tell me about the extreme tension you experience in your life. It prevents you from paying attention to your spiritual practice, and it leaves you feeling very tired.

What is the face like of one who is in tension? And what does the face of one who is paying attention look like? When I say “Om Shanti” to you when we are together, it is to draw your attention. I am fortunate not to experience tension; I feel fortunate to receive opportunities to serve. Forget anything of the past, and become tension-free. Due to lack of attention, tension can deprive you of sleep and disturb others’ sleep, too.

Put yourself in a state of soul consciousness, and then put your attention on God and you will feel the tension fall away. Your face and your presence will do service and you will feel strong and refreshed.

It is good you are taking benefit for these messages and from the Awakening programs. Use some of the practices espoused in them and it will help you to let go of the past and focus on creating a new and better future. You have taken your exams and so whatever is the result of your study will be. Focus on the present, realize who you are, practice your Dharma and your beautiful qualities will emerge. Draw strength from God who is your Father, Teacher and Friend.

Brijesh Kumar: God is an incorporeal being of light - the Supreme Soul - our spiritual parent. Just as we are incorporeal beings of light (like tiny stars) so too is God. However, we adopt bodies to play our parts in this drama of life on the physical plane 'He' doesn't have a body of His own - which allows Him to keep the purity of all his atributes. He is the 'seed' of the 'human world tree' and is completely knowledgeful. Though God is this tiny subtle being of light His qualities are vast as He is the Ocean of Love, Peace, Truth, and Happiness. Navdee: When we want to experience somthing constantly and continuously we have to pay attention constantly and continually. Not with tension, but with attention, with focus and practice. When we do something constantly and continually it becomes our natural nature.
