Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter you can substitute it with vegan butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup white sugar
    • 1/2 cup yoghurt
      • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

      Dry ingredients

      • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
      • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
      • 1/4 teaspoon salt
      • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
      • 2 cups oats
      • 1/2 cup chopped cherries
      • 2/3 cup chopped walnuts

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit
  2. Add all dry ingredients (except oats) to the wet ingredients and mix well with a whisk or spoon.
  3. Fold the oats and mix well
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  5. Take ice cream scoop and scoop each cookie, flatten with a fork and top with cherries
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 mins
